1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks, 16 tablespoons, or 226 g)
1-3 teaspoons red food gel (5-15 g/mL)
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups flour (360 g)
1/2 cup light cocoa (115 grams)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (6 g)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda (9 g)
1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
1 3/4 cups buttermilk (392 g)

350° 30-40 minutes
