I love a good thin New York style pizza, but sometimes you just need that extra thick fluffy crust. This focaccia like crust has the perfect crispy browned bottom, with beautiful caramelized cheese around the edge. Make this no knead pizza dough recipe and impress all your family and friends!


RECIPE:

Pizza dough:
2 cups (240 grams) bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast (instant or active dry)
1 tsp sugar
3/4 cup (170 g) warm water (105-110 degrees F)
1 Tbsp olive oil

Pizza sauce (***typo in video):
1/4 onion, minced or grated
2-4 garlic cloves, minced or grated
1 Tbsp olive oil
***1/8 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp tomato paste
14.5 ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
***1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder

Saute onion, garlic, and olive oil until fragrant
Add chili flakes, oregano, and tomato paste. Cook for 1-2 minutes
Add crushed tomatoes, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder
Cook until you reach your desired consistency. The longer you cook it, the thicker it will get.
