Poulsbo | Puget Sound Boating Destinations

Poulsbo is only a quick 45 minute run from Shilshole Bay Marina, making it a perfect day cruises for unreliable weather or an afternoon of shopping. The weather for our guided group trip was anything but unreliable, with incredible sun and low winds for our balmy December Saturday.

This private, members-only trip was guided by Carefree Boat Club instructor Jeff Davis and organized and documented by Community Manager Jessica McQuarrie. Our 2019 and 2018 Ranger Tug R23s, 2021 Beneteau Antares 21, 2020 Beneteau Barracuda and 2019 Defiance 220EX made the trip together. We continued on around Bainbridge Island to stop at Blake Island before the return but had originally planned to only go over to Poulsbo, not expecting such great winter weather.
