1 large katahar/shatigne/breadnut
1 medium onion chopped
1 Sprig Curry leaf optional
1/4 tsp raw gerra
1 tbs mixed masala
1 1/2 tbs Curry powder
1 tsp roasted ground gerra
2 tbs minced garlic
2 tbs green seasoning ( celery, fine thyme, & shadow benni
3 -4 pimento peppers (optional)
2 whole grated coconuts fresh and squeezed or 3 cans coconut milk
salt to taste
1 hot pepper
3 tbs cooking oil
*Heat up oil.
Add gerra, curry leaves, and onions together.
Cook for a few minutes, then add the rest of the spices and garden herbs - 3 to 5 minutes.
Then add coconut milk katahar and simmer on a low medium heat until soft and tender and sauce is reduced
-Best served with roti or rice.
