First of all, I want to thank Becky and Laura Schiller for their help in finding some clips and voiceovers.

To edit some new dynamics for one, this video focuses on the friendship between Mateo and Naomi (that is sadly not really focused on in the show) and Gabe and Elena. And I finally got the chance to use some clips from "A Tale Dark and Grimm" for flashbacks of Mateo trying out magic as a kid. Naomi nearly discovers him and fights off some bats in the jungle and are there for each other but they do not become closer friends until Elena reintroduces them years later.
Of course, I could not resist including some shipping, too with Mateo and Naomi encouraging each other to get closer to their sweethearts and proudly watching their friend dance with the partner of their dreams at the coronation ball. Especially after dancing together did not work that well. The only spark that produced was Elena's unconscious jealousy as Mateo poured his heart out to Naomi that Elena never noticed him as a romantic partner.
Naomi encourages Mateo to get some more self-esteem and he does the same because Naomi can get a bit flighty when it comes to committing herself to Gabe.
In the end everyone has found their romance and all four friends are happy.
