The rare Casio SK-2100 is the only one keyboard from the SK series not having miniature keys. The sounds and features are different from the SK-1. The SK-2100 is equipped with 20 rhythms. Two rhythm pattern are even programmable - but the programming is somewhat tricky... The drum sounds are similar to those on the Casio RZ-1 drum machine.

There are also 20 preset tones. The nice SK-1 piano is also there. It has 8-bit / 9,38 kHz sampling - great for those who like lo-fi samples! 4 samples can be stored in memory. They can be treated with volume envelopes, loop, reverse, transpose...They can be played via keyboard, pads or can be controlled by the pattern sequencer. If you leave batteries inside, your samples and grooves will be kept after turning off.

What a pity that the SK-2100 also features this damn "auto power off" like on the SK-1. Which bright spark at Casio had this idea?

The SK-2100 has a detachable microphone, but it also can sample through the "sample in" jack. A pity that it has no MIDI.

A quite rare machine, that gives you hours of fun and inspiration...
