Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken

We started with 8 pieces of lean chicken thighs, be sure to clean and trim your chicken. Although the thighs are the best part, they can be fatty, so be sure to clean and trim your thighs.

We made a rub of-
Garlic powder
Smoked paprika
Kosher salt
Cracked pepper
Brown sugar
Cayenne pepper

The rub is great for any chicken if it is on the grill, cooktop or air fryer.

After we rubbed our chicken, we wrapped in thick cut bacon, it does not need to be thick cut, but works best with this recipe.
Wrap your bacon on the bottom side of the chicken and stretch and needed to end your bacon piece on the bottom as well.

Place your chicken in your air fryer for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees. Temperature may vary depending on the output of your air fryer.
Most will give a good indication after 10 minutes, you may need to adjust the time for additional cooking.

Our creamy artichoke sauce recipe.

Ingredients:
12 oz- heavy cream
1/4 cup- chopped green onions
1/4 cup- basil, sliced
16 oz- artichoke bottoms, you can use canned or marinated
1/3 cup- chicken stock
as needed- salt and pepper

Method:
Add cream to a pan over med heat and reduce to half
Season with salt and pepper
Add artichoke hearts, green onions and basil
Add chicken stock based on the consistency of your cream. If to heavy add less, if to thick add more etc.
Simmer to achieve the consistency needed
