Hey Dressage Superstar, I am going to answer the question - How do I get my horse on the bit in canter? When I was learning how to get my horse on the bit, I could do it in trot, and in canter my horse would poke his nose out and it really upset me and perplexed me... the main reason I think this is, because in trot you are a little more steady in the hands, and more confident. In the canter you might be a little more unsteady and your hands not quite as still! Your hands have to be still in order for the horse to be still and in the contact.
