How To Rig Whisker Seeker Tackle Quick Release Sinker Slide For Catfish

I’ve had a ton of questions lately about rigging the Whisker Seeker Tackle Quick Release Sinker Slides that were released a few months ago so I wanted to take a quick opportunity to walk everyone through this new piece of catfish tackle.

Sinker slides are a staple piece of catfish tackle for many anglers. They work with virtually any catfish rig and allow the addition of a smooth sliding sinker on any rig while greatly reducing the possibility of damage to the fishing line. One of the biggest reasons for their popularity is the simple fact that they allow you to quickly and easily swap weights or sinkers on your catfish rig to adjust the weight. When fishing in varying conditions, like variable winds or current or even when making changes in depth catfish anglers often find the need to increase or decrease the amount of weight they’re using.

There’s many options available when it comes to sinker slides but they all share a common problem. When you’re done fishing and you stow you’re rods, you’ll come back later to a massive tangled mess of rods that’s enough to make you insane.
