Red Oktober - Crich Tramway Village, 08/10/23

Crich Tramway Village once again played host to Red Oktober, a gathering of vehicles manufactured in former Eastern Bloc countries. This event was organised by the IFA Club GB and was part of their weekend get-together in Derbyshire. In addition to Wartburgs, Trabants and an MZ motorcycle representing the IFA vehicles (sadly no Barkas vans this time) there were also FSOs, a Tatra, Skodas including 3 Favorits, and a solitary Lada. Many of the participants took part in a parade on the street at the Tramway museum, as was the case in previous events.

It has been five years since we were last able to attend an Eastern Bloc car meet, so it was an enjoyable event for us, especially so as we were able to spend a couple of hours chatting to fellow YouTuber Gaz11h who was also a regular at previous Red Oktobers.
