ฟ้อนแหย่ไข่มดแดงนะครับ เป็นการแสดงการทำมาหากินของชาวอีสาน คือชาวอีสานนี่อะไรที่สูงหรือที่ต่ำนี่กินได้หมด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเห็ด หรือไข่มดแดง อยู่สูงก็จะไปแหย่มาเพื่อมาทำเป็นอาหาร การแสดงชุดนี้จึงเป็นการแสดงเหมือนกับเรียนแบบอากับกิริยาการทำมาหากินของชาวอีสานที่เอาไข่มดแดงมาทำเป็นอาหาร ครับ

Forn Yae Khai Mot Daeng is a dance which describes the search for food by Isan people. Isan people will eat anything from above or below. They can eat anything, no matter whether it’s mushrooms or ant eggs. If it’s high in a tree they will probe for it with a bamboo pole. This performance imitates the act of searching for food by Isan people, such as collecting red ant eggs for food.
