Osteria del Mirasole was born in 1989 from the idea of ​​Franco Cimini (chef and owner) to create a small place with a rustic and ancient flavor, which resembled his home cuisine.

So, just twenty-two years ago, along the lines of the existing Osteria which existed during the second war, he reproduces the setting in his own, enriching and personalizing it over the years with paintings, tools and trinkets of the past.

To complete the warm and welcoming atmosphere, set in one of the two rooms, a stone fireplace where, with wood embers that smell of the forest, Franci cooks his meat with unforgettable flavor and with great skill.

The trait that distinguishes Franco's cuisine is that of the authenticity of the flavors in their simplicity.

The concept that he wants to convey is the importance of the ingredients which don’t need great elaborations, but a simple exaltation.

The perfect combination has arrived with Anna in the last 20 years, his wife and figure in the dining room who, thanks to het family farm, supplies the tavern with excellent quality raw materials.

The innkeeper Riccardo skilfully completes the harmony that only the tradition of research into every detail can give.

The result on the plate is that of an ancestral food, with great character and at the same time reassuring... like a mother's hug.
