Less than two weeks away from the World's Toughest Bike Race: Race Across America, I got a new cycling coach.

With barely any time left to make physical gains on the bike (like VO2 Max workouts, endurance building training for cycling, and long blocks of training can yield), a was matched with Joy McCulloch, through TrainingPeak's cycling coach matching service.

Joy helped me come up with a training plan, including this nighttime cycling workout that will help me prepare for RAAM in ways that even my trusty ol' favourite cycling interval workouts could never do.

I'll be racing Race Across America, an ultra endurance cycling event with Team One Mile. I have been a professional road cyclist since 2012, and have ridden many years on the UCI Women's World Tour, but I've never done a bike race like this...
