Moving along on the Jeep Wrangler JK King of the Hammers build, its time to start working on the LS front drive accessories and get our suspension links installed! We start off by working on our LS3 GM hot cam crate engine, swapping away from the Corvette style balancer to a new ATI Super Damper with F-body spacing. https://amzn.to/3LSQyfv This damper is a high quality upgrade, ensuring we have no issues with the factory style rubber breaking or coming apart during high engine RPM. At the same time, we pinned the crank which is a tad overkill for a NA engine, however it keeps the crank from possibly spinning on the damper. Typically this is for supercharged applications where the best drive system sees high loads, but it is a fairly easy thing to do, and provides peace of mind in the long run. We finished up with a new ARP bolt and eventually installed a new F-body water pump to match the spacing as well.

After wrapping the engine drive up, we installed our suspension links!
We are running a triangulated 4 link rear with a 3 link up front. We took measurements with the axles set in place and called up Clayton Offroad to get some custom long arms made! Clayton uses 2" square tubing with .25" wall thickness, a very beefy setup. Their arms are robotically welded to the machined bung inserts, ensuring full penetration and ultimate strength. Clayton is known for their square control arms, and they handle abuse extremely well!
The Barnes4wd Magnum heim joints are a great choice due to their strength and long shank, giving us plenty of thread engagement and a ton of adjustability. We have been using these Heims on my JKU and cassies LJ and we havent had a single issue with a Heim over the years!

Jeremy Dupper from Unlimited LJ Adventure came by to help out and check out the build. We installed the Advance Adapters Atlas shift cable kit onto the transfercase. This is a job i would highly suggest doing with plenty of room available.
