How to swap keys in a Honda Gas Cap 919 or 599

Description: How to swap keys or key tumblers for a standard Honda gas cap. Not sure if it will work on all Honda's but it's probably very similar between models of street bikes. This will help if you need to swap out your ignition system and don't want to carry two different keys (one for ignition and one for the gas cap) and don't want to pay full price for a re-keyed gas cap. You can just buy a used one and remove the tumblers, swapping for your original key and tumblers.

I originally learned how to do this when I needed to take out my key assembly to get the gas cap powdercoated.
