Burton Park and Duncton, W Sussex; Dragons and damsels

Join us on a walk around Burton Park and Duncton. This is a fabulous walk especially in early summer, brought alive with birdsong, dragonflies and damselflies.

We started our walk at the Burton Park nature reserve, and followed a route that never took us far from either Burton Mill pond or Chingford pond. The attraction of these areas at this time of year is the damselflies and dragonflies which were out in abundance. Along lanes, through fields and woodland the beautiful birdsong was, at times, like an orchestra.
