Getzen 3003 Genesis B-flat Trumpet in Brushed Silver Plate! ACB Show & Tell

[Link in description] Check out this sweet Getzen 3003 Genesis trumpet! Tremendous trumpet on consignment at ACB. This is basically the same design as the Edwards Generation X but without the modular bell. The factory brushed silver finish is rare, and it's exquisite.

This trumpet has been played about 4-5 times. It's a versatile horn, and unfortunately this design has been discontinued. It's a little heavier than a "standard" Bach/Yamaha/Shires etc. trumpet thanks to the heavy bracing and the interchangeable leadpipe design. You might think this horn wouldn't brighten up very much due to the heavier design, but it has great zip in the upper register when you pop in a lead mouthpiece. Even with a larger mouthpiece like my MV3C it plays well in the upper register. The sound feels very centered and even. The twin tube leadpipe design helps with centering and responsiveness. This horn feels wonderful to play.
