Agroflorestar, Semeando um mundo de amor, harmonia e fartura

Agroflorestar, apresenta a fascinante trajetória dos agricultores de Barra do Turvo, no Vale do Ribeira. Originalmente trabalhando com a derruba e queima, suas terras já estavam desgastadas. O filme mostra como a introdução do sistema agroflorestal revolucionou a vida de mais de 100 famílias. Hoje quase 17 anos depois do inicio do Cooperafloresta, através do projeto Agroflorestar, as ideias de uma agricultura florestal sustentável chegaram ao MST, aonde em áreas degradadas pela monocultura, florestas de alimentos estão sendo plantadas. Como Seu Zaqueu disse no filme: "o MST tem a tecnologia de ajuntar gente, e a Coopera tema tecnologia de ajuntar plantas." De forma positiva o filme demonstra como podemos ter uma alternativa sustentável para a agricultura, sem destruir o planeta.

Agroflorestar, presents the fascinating story of family farmers of Barra do Turvo, in the Ribeira Valley, Brazil. Originally working with the slash and burn technique, the soil of their farms were becoming worn out. The film shows how the introduction of agroforestry system revolutionized the lives of over 100 families. Today, almost 17 ​​years after the beginning of Cooperafloresta through the project Agroflorestar, the ideas of a sustainable agroforestry reached the MST, (movement of the workers without land) where in areas degraded by monoculture, food forests are being planted. As Mr. Zaqueu says in the film: "The MST has the technology to gathering people, and Cooperafloresta has the technology to gathering plants."
