About a year ago I was just a normal college student, done with my freshman year at UW Eau Claire waiting in line for Frozen Ever After in EPCOT with my buddy Ben. During our hour and a half wait to experience Arendelle, we came up with Disney theory after Disney theory; it was a truly amazing discussion we could’ve only had in the most magical place on Earth. Through our discussion, one of the many questions we had, which has been bothering ever since was how Hades came to find himself in possession of such a formidable pink potion with the power to turn gods into men. From what I understood there was no way to destroy the gods of Olympus and even Ben, who was a big Riordian and mythology fan, couldn’t determine exactly what Hades possessed, but through analysis of Disney’s Hercules and mythology I think I have finally found an answer.
