TIG Welding of S235 Mild Steel with Cavitar Welding Camera C400

Today we share a very special TIG welding process captured by our very own Finnish welding champion Ville-Pekka Arasmo from everyweld who has shared his insight to us as well using Cavitar Welding Camera C400. The process is a TIG welding of S235 mild steel at 110A with plate thickness of 5mm and 3 mm Gap, and Esab OK 13.09 filler material with a diameter 2.0mm.

What does the welding look like from the end of the plate in TIG welding? This video shows clearly butt weld from new angle. You can see which way and where to put filler material while TIG welding.

Please look at the start how the solid metal starts to melt and molten metal from up below reach molten metal from the top. This camera angle shows clearly right or wrong starting technique and waiting time until start moving forward.
