Forza 7 Drag race: Ferrari F40 vs Ferrari F50

Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, this time on Forza 7. We got two legendary, two iconic beasts of their time. Two brothers, the F40 and the F50. These two machines that give you that nostalgic feeling. We will line'em both down the straight and race them but before we do, lets look at their specifications!

Lets start by the older brother, the 1987 Ferrari F40, an italian legendary mid-engined RWD supercar that was created by Ferrari back then to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and to replace the Ferrari 288 GTO. And it also served a double purpose as being Ferrari's answer to the Porsche 959. And it was famous for being the first production car to break 201 mph. Nontheless, sitting in the middle is a 2.9 L Twin-Turbocharged V8 that produces 478 bhp and 424 lb.ft of torque. The F40 weighs 1352 kg and the power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Making it one of the sexiest old school looking fast supercar ever made.

In 1995, the F40 was replaced by the Ferrari F50. Which is also a mid-engined RWD supercar, it is a limited production car that succeeds the F40. Only 349 F50s were produced. Nontheless, sitting above the rear wheels is a 4.7 L Naturally Aspirated V12 that produces 513 bhp and 347 lb.ft of torque, the F50 weighs 1350 kg and the power is sent to the rear wheels via a longitundinal 6-Speed Manual transmission.

Now with both specifications given, lets line'em both down the Le Mans famous straight and find out the results. Will the Wonderful F40 surpass its successor? Or will the F50 proof that the successor is always the best? Lets find out.
