My first images at a new (for me) urban landscape location. This pedestrian bridge is stunning and a feat of engineering.

The bridge was quite busy and I was a little unhappy about inconveniencing the general public with the tripod, so I was working as quickly as I could to get the exposures made and completely forgot to say anything.

As far as composition goes: it's all about the shadows and being there at the right time to get them. People walking through the composition added a lot of scale and interest, but to ensure they don't dominate the composition they are either silhouetted, are far enough away so their faces are not visible, or have their backs to the camera. To reduce flare and internal reflections I've set the camera up so the lens is in shadow and the sun isn't directly shining into the lens.
