A good place to metal detect because so many things have happened here

There is an old farm down by the pond that has had so much history over the centuries that it makes it a great place to do some metal detecting and relic hunting. Two old home sites with cellar holes from the 1700s and 1800s. A loggers landing, hunting cabin and the old dirt road that has seen a lot of travelers. I decided to swing my Fisher F19 today along the pond side to see what I could find and did very well. Yup, I dug plenty of junk but I did dig some great old relics from this deserted farm. There is always going to be old stuff buried in the ground at these old places you just have to dig through the modern trash to find them. A beautiful sunny NH day to spend exploring and detecting in the woods.
