Randwick Recycling Part 3

Here is the third video from my July 2014 Sydney trip, got one more video to go. Once again it features SL044, one of Suez's MacDonald Johnston 25m GenV Reycler bodies with Mitch at the wheel. As you can see we get some nice views looking out towards the ocean in one of Randwick's coastal suburbs, quite nice views and something a little different. The houses round here were alright too, plenty of recycling as usual. The truck packed out its first load at the end of the video so after that it was off to the recycling transfer station to unload the first load for the day. It was a little cool filming out near the water during winter time, but the nice morning sun kept things warm enough. As you can see this is a totally different area to the first two video's, which involves SL044 starting its run in another part of the council and then driving over to this part to complete the days work. To be honest I have absolutely no idea why it is done this way, I reckon it would make a bit more sense to start collections at one end of the council on Monday and each week day you move to the next area which boarders the previous days work and therefore finishing the collections on a Friday at the other end of the council boarders. That would be the logical way to do the council collections, but hey this is a council after all and that would be too logical, haha!
