Vintage Fairy Tales: The Emperor's New Clothes by H.C. Andersen (Children's Audiobook)

The Emperor's New Clothes is a classic tale created by Hans Christian Andersen. It tells of two swindlers who weasel their way into a vane Emperor's gluttonous desires. They convince him that they can create the most glorious clothes for him, and anyone who looks at the clothes and cannot see them is either a fool or not fit for their post. He is intrigued and gives them all they ask for. They put on a show acting as though they are hard at work making clothes when in fact there is nothing there. Eventually, they say the clothes are complete and ask the Emperor to take off his clothes and put their fabulous attire on. He does so and then parades his new outfit in public. At first, everyone praised the clothes because they did not want to be labeled a fool, but then a child says he can't see anything, and the whole facade is broken.
