THE BEST SEAFOOD RICE HANDS DOWN | YOU WON'T WANT TO EAT SEAFOOD RICE ANY OTHER WAY

INGREDIENTS

BRAND OF RICE I USED
MADAME GOUGOUSSE JASMINE RICE

MAKING SEASONING (EPIS) INGREDIENTS (   • THE BEST HAITIAN EPIS EVER || HOW TO ...  )
3 different colors belle peppers (small pieces like you see in the video)
4 garlic cloves
1 green onion
1/2 cup of parsley
1 bonnet pepper
1 Maggie cube
1 Sazon package
3 tablespoon of vegetable oil

RICE
4 tablespoon of epis
1/2 of each bell peppers green,red , yellow, orange (diced)
1 large whole onion (diced)
3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
1 Maggie chicken flavor bullion cube
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of adobo
1 teaspoon complete seasoning
3 cups of water
3 cups of rice
2 tablespoon of butter (salted)
1 teaspoon of black pepper (optional)

CLAW CRAB MEAT
Publix Claw Crab Meat 8 oz Pkg

CLEANING TILAPIA (optional)
0.50 pounds of tilapia (or whatever fish you want)
1/2 lime
1 tablespoon of vinegar

SEASONING TILAPIA
2 tablespoons of epis
1 teaspoon of old bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

CLEANING SHRIMP
1 bag of Great Value Frozen Raw Jumbo Tail-off Shrimp, 16 oz (21-30 Count per lb)
Peeled and divine
1/4 cup lemon juice

SEASONING SHRIMP
2 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon of old bay
1 tablespoon of epis
1 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoons of onion powder

INSTRUCTIONS
Place a Dutch oven on the stove heat at 6/7 add 4 tablespoons oil
Add 4 tablespoons of epis
Add some of the cut up bell peppers and onions as seen in the video
Add 3 tablespoons of tomato paste
Add 1 cube of chicken flavored bouillon (Maggie), 1 teaspoon of adobo, 1 teaspoon of complete seasoning, 1 teaspoons of salt.
Mix everything well and let cook for 2 minutes
Add 3 cups of water
Add parsley and thyme tied together
Let the water come to a boil once water start to boil wash 3 cups of rice.
Add the washed rice to the pot all in one spot as seen in the video then stir the rice into the water
Add 2 tablespoons of butter and mix it well into the rice
After 6 minutes all the water will be gone from the pot BUT the rice will still be wet. Turn down the heat from 6/7 to 3/2. Cover the pot with aluminum foil and lid.
Let the rice cook UNDESTRIBED for 30 minutes
While rice is cooking place another pot on the stove at medium high heat 6/7.
Add 1/2 stick of butter and the remainder of the bell peppers and onions let cook for 1 minute
Add claw crab meat, tilapia, imitation crab meat tet cook for 2 minutes then add the shrimp add 1/2 stick of butter
Let cook for 2 more minutes
By this time 30 minutes should have passed and your rice should be cooked.
Pour the cooked rice into the seafood pot and mix will.
But the cover on that pot and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
