1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick (113g) unsalted butter
3 tablespoons ice cold water
2-3 baking apples (I used 'Honey Crisp')
2 tablespoons sugar blended with 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
Optional: sparkling sugar for decorating the top of the pie
