Lionel Messi and Inter Miami arrive in Hong Kong as pre-season tour continues

Lionel Messi and Inter Miami arrived in Hong Kong on Friday as their pre-season tour continues.

The MLS club was shutout 6-0 by Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr in a friendly on Thursday in Riyadh that had been touted as a clash between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But Ronaldo missed the match for Al Nassr with injury while Messi played only seven minutes, disappointing fans who had expected to see the two stars square off.

Inter Miami will train on Saturday in Hong Kong then face a local league selection in a match on Sunday.

The club then moves on to Tokyo to face reigning Japanese J.League champions Vissel Kobe next Wednesday.
