Across The Italy | Ep.4 - ROME

This one took longer than expected but it's finally here, the Part 4 of Across The Italy!

This is probably the biggest video of the series as it's the capital of Italy itself - Rome! The city that was once the capital of the Roman Empire is now a major tourist attraction where the past meets the present. First, we'll take a look at modern Rome, then we'll look at the main landmarks worth seeing. The amazingly sculpted Trevi Fountain, the ruins of the Forum Romanum, the Pantheon, and most importantly (and most iconic from all) the mighty Colosseum! We also can't forget about the capital of Christianity and the home of the Pope, the Vatican. There's so many things to see in Rome so it's not surprising that this video turned out to be the longest one on this channel (Direction: Crete was the longest so far).

Since Rome is (for me) mostly associated with Ridley Scott's "Gladiator" (great movie go watch it), you can expect to see many references to this film (mostly the music and the clips).

Additionally, as a little bonus, we will also visit the hilltop town of Orvieto, where you can see the beautiful cathedral or go deep into the earth in St. Patrick's Well.
