Silicone found in the oil pan!! GR86

Recently I have heard stories about excessive silicone RTV sealant being found clogging the oil pickup tube strainer in the oil pan on the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ. In a few cases this has led to the total destruction of the motor and Toyota has denied warranty coverage in at least one of these cases. This alarmed me, so at my first oil change on my 2022 Toyota GR86 I decided to look inside my oil pan for signs of excessive silicone sealant and this is what I found.
