REVIVAL is EMINEM’s 9th studio album. The globally acclaimed Detroit rapper tackles a plethora of issues, both personal and national, more staccato and punchy than ever. What should be honest, eye opening, or anything close to adequate on this body of work comes off as hollow, dishonest, and all around embarrassing. This is moreso a collector’s edition of the worst bars Eminem has ever conceived rather than a “revival” of anything in his career. The man is trying to start a rap feud with Donald Trump.

This album is chaotic. There is no structure, nothing to latch on to, disorganized, and an all around mess that should have never been green-lighted. I cannot believe someone of Eminem’s caliber could feel confident releasing this.
