Coeur d'Alene, ID is a lovely resort town and has some great kid activities! Plus the longest floating boardwalk in the world. The multi-state International Selkirk Loop drive is a fun trip with lots of historic towns, though we only had time for a small portion of it on our whirlwind trip through the Idaho Panhandle.
