Kenrick Rowe is a musician, he is a drummer and percussionist and has traveled all over the world playing music. He studied with American jazz drummer Clifford Jarvis and crossed over to Jazz, Latin, Soul & Funk circuits. He has worked with a number of leading Jazz artistes such as Courtney Pine, Steve Williamson, Guy Barker, Jason Rebello, David Murray Big Band, Art Farmer, Ernest Ranglin, Jazz Jamaica All-stars and Andy Shepherd.

Kenrick Rowe was born in Finchley and grew up in North London. He started off playing the guitar, but then started playing drums at the age of seventeen. He began playing drums in the music industry on the London Reggae circuit and his first break came from Sugar Minott. As a studio session drummer with over 30 years experience, Kenrick has worked with artistes such as Janet Kay, Carol Thompson, Dennis Brown, The Investigators, Peter Hunningale, The Might Diamonds, Alton Ellis, Jean Adebambo, Tiger, Jackie Mittoo and many other established artistes in the British and Jamaican Reggae industry. He is famously known as the drummer of Aswad, Janet Kay and Maxi Priest. A South East London boy Kenrick Rowe has played with renowned jazz, funk, fusion and soul artistes worldwide.
