What to expect? A Day hike in Tarak Ridge

Tarak Ridge is located in Mariveles, Bataan. Our entry point is in Brgy. Alas Asin. It offers an amazing view of Manila Bay, Corregidor Island, and some parts of Manila and Cavite, especially in Ternate Caviter where Mt. Pico De Loro is. Tarak Ridge has an elevation of 1,006 meters above sea level while the Tarak Peak height is 1,130 meters above sea level. Tarak Ridge is a combination of “Tabak” and “Tarik”. Tabak is a Tagalog word that means “hunting knife” while Tarik means “steep”.
