Tarak Ridge hike in Mariveles Bataan (Mt. Mariveles)

Tarak ridge is located in Brgy. Alas asin, Mariveles, Bataan. It has 1130 Meters above sea level (MASL) and considered by many as a Major climb. The ridge is part of a non active volcano called Mt. Mariveles. The view upon reaching the ridge and summit part are Correigdor Island which played a big role in world war 2, Manila bay which you'll able to see the shadows of Metro manila if the sky is clear and the mountains of Cavite. The hike can be done from 2 options, number 1 is by climbing on a dayhike basis but it requires you to start hiking by early 1 am. Option number 2 is by climbing it on a overnight basis which you'll have the option to camp in Papaya river or in the ridge part of the mountain.
