Recipes Using Cake Mixes: Orange Creamsicle Cookies

This is my Facebook page.   / tammyyoyomax12   Once again, I managed to mess up filming and don't have the footage of me very artfully and with great cinematographic effect, placing the cookie dough on the cookie sheet. Someday people, someday.....
These cookies taste just like creamsicles with a lovely orange flavour and the white chocolate chips providing that creamy vanilla flavour that you would get from ice cream.

1 box of white cake mix
One four serving size box orange jello
2 tbsp orange zest
1/2 cup salted butter softened to room temp.
2 eggs
2 cups white chocolate chips

In a large mixing bowl whisk together the white cake mix, orange gelatin powder and orange zest.
Add the butter and eggs to the bowl. Beat the ingredients together until dough is smooth and there is no more cake mix powder lefdt.
Add the white chocolate chips and stir into the cookie dough.
Using a cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon measure, put ball of dough on a greased or silicone/parchment covered cookie sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each ball.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 13 minutes or until centers are set and the edges are light brown. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes on the baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack to finish cooling. Don't move them around too much before they are cool because they will fall apart.
