名草神社 三重塔（日本で一番高い場所にある 三重塔)　(Three-storied pagoda of Nagusa Shrine.)

兵庫県養父市に鎮座する名草神社には、国指定重要文化財の三重塔があります。
この三重塔は、江戸時代に出雲大社から名草神社に移築されたそうです。
現在の感覚から言えば、神社に三重塔があると言えば、少し不思議な気がします。
しかし、その経緯を聞けば、ある程度納得できると思います。
名草神社は、古くから妙見信仰の対象だったものが、明治時代になって神仏分離令が出されて名草神社と日光院となったそうです。

この三重塔は、日本で一番高いところにある三重塔と言われ、標高約８００ｍですから、冬季には数メートルの雪が積もることもある過酷な環境に建てられています。
兵庫県にある数ある三重塔の中でも、その姿は秀麗な素晴らしいものだと思います。
三重塔の一重の軒隅には、力士が屋根を支えています。
三重の軒隅には、「見ざる、聞かざる、言わざる、思わざる」の四猿が置かれています。

個人的には、この三重塔が出雲大社から、どういうルートで名草神社まで運ばれたのかが興味がありました。
それについては、動画内で私見を述べさせて頂いています。

名草神社の鎮座する兵庫県養父市八鹿町は、越前の戦国大名 朝倉氏発祥の地でもあり、歴史好きにとっては、興味深いところです。
近くの養父市関宮には、小説家山田風太郎記念館もあります。

Nagusa Shrine has long been the object of Myoken faith, but it is said that it was divided into Nagusa Shrine and Nikkoin in the Meiji period when the Meiji Era issued the Ordinance to Separate Shinto and Buddhism.

This three-storied pagoda is said to be the highest three-storied pagoda in Japan.
Because it is about 800 meters above sea level, it is built in a harsh environment where several meters of snow can pile up in winter.
Among the many three-storied pagodas in Hyogo Prefecture, I think that its appearance is beautiful and wonderful.
Sumo wrestlers support the roof in the corners of the single eaves of the three-storied pagoda.
At the corners of the triple eaves of the three-storied pagoda, there are the four monkeys of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, think no evil".

Personally, I was interested in how this three-storied pagoda was transported from Izumo Taisha to Nagusa Shrine.

Yoka Town, Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture, where Nagusa Shrine is enshrined, is also the birthplace of the Echizen Sengoku daimyo Asakura clan, and is an interesting place for history buffs.

There is also a novelist Futaro Yamada Memorial Museum in Sekinomiya, Yabu City nearby.
