A review & demonstration of the Blackwing Matte pencil, its softest graphite pencil. I demonstrate how to use the Blackwing sharpener, which is a two-step process for sharpening the wood, then the graphite. Then I'll do a quick, real time demo of an urban sketch of the skyline in Auckland, New Zealand to show how the pencil works on Stillman & Birn zeta paper.
