Filming location: Gartgill Road, Coatbridge (ML5 2EQ)

A level crossing located in a quiet spot on a relatively quiet road just outside of Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. Follow the road past the crossing and around the tight road bend (off to the right in the first shot), and you'll suddenly emerge in a very urban area on the edge of Coatbridge itself. The barriers here were installed in the last 4-6 years, though the current pair of alarms are a fair bit newer than them and replaced a pair which weren't in for very long. A freight service and a pair of retro units feature in this video, the former of which I actually caught glimpses of being loaded at its origin at Blackford earlier that day. The first shot is tripod-aided, and the 'off-side' wigwag's placement and orientation feels a bit unusual for some reason.
