#QBasic #Tutorials #Programming Hello again, Fellow Whack-a-do's! Well, Gol' Dang it! It occurs to me now I blew my chance; what with my snazzy bath robe on, I should've done the classic Sharon Stone move - you know the one! ( Hey, anything for views, amIright? )
Anyway, on this go-'round, we're looking into printing what's known as "control" characters! See, at one time, these here thingies were literally used to CONTROL a line printer or plotter (hence the name!). For 'xample, a given character might produce a tab, a line feed or clear the screen - one of 'em even made the printer SING! ( Well, beep, really....)
Now, these characters got some pretty groovy symbols attached to 'em, like for instance, smiley faces, hearts, spades, diamonds or clubs & other crazy useful things! Problem is, QBasic can't print most of them directly, so we need to use some arcane mumbo-jumbo called "Bios" and "Assembly". As you may have guessed, in this vid, I show you how to do this!
So, sit back, relax, maybe pop a little corn & check THIS out!
(P.S. - don't forget to click them there linkies down below to download all this non-sense or better yet, check out a YouTube channel by a fella called Jeremy Fielding! I mean, if my nonsense doesn't pop yer cork, I gauranDAMNtee Jeremy's got something amazing for ya!)
Awright, cheers for now & See ya Bye, Mein Froinds!
