This lesson is all about Chord Inversions on guitar.
Some people may already know how to invert guitar chords. You probably learned the shapes by heart. In this guitar lesson I want to show you How to invert chords on guitar. I'll teach you the theory behind it and I'll show you my Chord Inversion Trick, that let's you invert any chord, even jazz guitar chords including tensions. You will instantly get access to hundreds of new jazz guitar voicings. You will be able to adapt guitar chords to a melody, by inverting them. You will sound a lot more sophisticated too :-)

I'll go in depth with my explanations and show you everything on guitar in musical examples. Tension chord inversions on jazz guitar are something most people aren't aware of. Chord Inversions explained is an essential tool for the inspiring guitarist. Knowing the Root position isn't enough! You will find yourselves in situations, like chord melody, more modern music like fusion or modern jazz, where you'll need a particular note on top of your voicing. The regular voicing may be too far away, therefor you need an inversion. It's also needed to make a comping melody. You want to have a good voice leading too. If you only know two chords within a family, you will never achieve that goal.
