Brain Masala

Ingredients for Boiled Maghaz:
Water 4-5 cups
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Brain (maghaz) 4

Ingredients for Brain Masala:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato puree 1 cup
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Boiled maghaz
Butter 2 tbsp
Green coriander (chopped) as required

Directions for Boiled Maghaz Preparation:
1. In a pot heat water and add turmeric. Add maghaz into it and let it simmer over low flame for
1-2 mins.
Note: The maghaz will clean properly in this procedure
Directions for Brain Masala Preparation:
2. In a pan heat oil and add onion. Cook until translucent. Now add ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
3. Add tomato puree, red chili flakes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and cook until oil separates.
4. Now add boiled maghaz and cook for 5-10 mins. Add butter and mix it well.
5. Dish it out and garnish it with green coriander. Your Brain Masala is ready.
Prep time: 15-20 mins
Cooking time: 30-40 mins
