Disclaimers:
1. Treat this card as an AU, the timeline doesn't really matter for this card.
2. The card title is unofficial. It comes from a poetic title called 画堂春 (Hua Tang Chun), there are various poems written under 画堂春, where one of the poems depicts sorrows and exclamations during the transition from winter to springtime. It's technically something like "Springtime in a Painted Room" but YT word limit lol
3. Kindly note that different translators may translate the words differently. Please let me know if you have a better suggestion in the translation too! Constructive feedbacks are always welcomed!
4. I am not affiliated with Mihoyo. I'm only translating in the name of love, since this card isn't released in Global server yet and would probably take quite some time till its release.
5. Footage thanks to Eunji!

Translator's Notes:
[1] I have to repeat this again and again, calling each other 'brother' does not make them relate by blood. Vincent's use of 'Xiongtai' It is a form of formality (and somewhat archaic), a form of respect to a male figure. While it's generally used for someone elder, but friends (usually in scholarly setting) it is very common to address each other with 'brother' or 'surname + brother'. Please remember that this is in a traditional setting. It's not too common in modern world now.
[2] Judging from the method being written, it's likely that Marius is a noble but not directly related to the emperor. Likely a son of the emperor's sibling.
[3] I'm not sure how to translate this properly. It means 画中仙 (Hua Zhong Xian) is Marius' master that taught him art. While it literally translates to "immortal being in the painting" but it can also be interpreted as "someone highly respectable in painting that can a level of a divine".
[4] Weiming City is Stellis in CN.
[5] It's like paper with drawing/ outlines of drawings, but instead of using pencil or ink to paint the drawings, the lines are all in gold.
[6] Imagine Marius lives in a giant mansion, but the side mansion is another building built within the land, but not attached to the main mansion. Imagine a side house by the courtyard or something, I'm not sure what this term is in English because I've been looking around to only see people translating it as 'courtyard' but courtyard is an open-air space, and in this case it isn't.
[7] 丹青 (danqing) refers to paintings on silk and Xuan paper. The words originated from minerals that can be made into paint. It's very often for the color of vermillion and green to be used in Chnese paintings, and danqing is also a codename for paintings.
[8] Arty: making a strong, affected, or pretentious display of being artistic or interested in the arts.
[9] In Chinese poetry, a couplet is a pair of lines of poetry which adhere to certain rules. Outside of poems, they are usually seen on the sides of doors leading to people's homes or as hanging scrolls in an interior. It's commonly seen in houses around the time of Chinese New Year.
[10] The reading of 9 in mandarin is "jiu3" and "long time" also reads as "jiu3", hence the number 9 is often representing terms of "long-lasting" or "everlasting".
[11] I really loved how MC used the word '心上人' here. It means sweetheart/ lover, but if we were to talk about it literally, it means "someone in your heart". It's a beautiful phrase but I don't know how else to translate it, so I wanted to tell you the beauty of this part.
