The Opportunity Project for Cities (TOPC) Demo Day 2024

The Opportunity Project for Cities (TOPC) Demo Day 2024 is a two-hour celebration of each city's and county's journey in solving community issues while creating technology-enabled solutions, all funded by Knight Foundation. Governments, community organizations, and Google.org technologists share how they co-created solutions to local challenges using the power of open data and community engagement.

The fourth cohort of The Opportunity Project for Cities--consisting of Akron, OH, Macon-Bibb, GA, Miami-Dade, FL, and St. Paul & Ramsey County, MN--partnered local governments and community organizations with pro bono support from technologists at Google.org to design new digital tools that address resident challenges, powered by local data.

Participants shared what they learned over a 20-week program working with their communities to understand, design, and test a product that meets residents’ needs.
