1985 Royal Military College Passing Out Parade

This is a Passing Out Parade (POP) or Perbarisan Tamat Latihan of the Royal Military College Malaysia. It consists of students from form 1 to form 5. The form 1 students served as the pengawal medan (guard of honour). They're the first to march in bearing tombak (spear) and the last to march out.
The rifle used during the parade is M16 with a bayonet attached. We wore Terylene uniform with a red hackle, a yellow muffler, white gloves and a green beret.
One thing obvious is the timing. Back then it's 1, 2, 3, 1. Now it's faster with 1, 2, 1. Personally I prefer the former as it allows you to execute the movement better and more precise. My 2 cents.
