Dublin's northside suburb of Finglas was a small, rural village until the middle of last century, when Dublin Corporation's housing schemes saw vast estates of houses rolled out over the farmlands, exploding the population from a few hundred to over 53,000 in just two decades. In this, the first of three episodes of 'A Finglas Story', we hear from some of the original Finglassians who remember Finglas before the housing boom.
