There is a big problem with the ICF-6800W. Some of the 2SC930 transistors are faulty and most of them are below the specifications after these years. Only about hFE 20-30 is it in this case. The Q32/33/34/35 are critical, these are to replace with similar types 2SC2786, 2SC2999 or others. Also all the 2SC930 in the FM part are to replace. Then we get more sensitivity and full scale S-meter deflection. The transistor swap is a very hard job. And the receiver realignment is not yet done. Ohhh--nohhhhh......
