How to Adjust Your Yoke | Mystery Ranch

Описание к видео How to Adjust Your Yoke | Mystery Ranch

This is going to show you how to detach and reattach a yoke. We have a couple different versions of our yoke but they are all pretty much the same. They deal with what we call the cape which is against the body and the shoulder pads.

To detach you are going to undo your shoulder pad from the superman strap, which is the strap attached to the backpack itself. Then you are going to detach the load lifters or load stabilizers. Sometimes its a threaded buckle on top. Once you have undone these straps you have fully detached the webbing of the yoke from the pack itself.

When you reach behind the yoke you'll see a pull tab that will release and open up the cape of the yoke. Inside you will find our yoke adjuster. In general, this is a piece of plastic that is used to adjust the yoke and as part of our pack framing. You can use the yoke adjuster to break the velcro seal and slide the yoke out.

To put your yoke back in your pack, you will repeat this process in reverse. You will want to make sure that adjuster is seated in the sleeve. Place your yoke in front of the adjuster to keep that velcro seal broken and slowly feed the yoke down into the sleeve. Once your yoke is in place, pull the adjuster out and set the velcro. Always be sure to replace that adjuster back in the yoke as it does work as part of the framing system. Finally, you must reattach your webbing, attaching and weaving the straps back in their original place.
