Kristylopi Knit along, part 5
This is hthe last part of the making of the sweater but them I will share more videos every Friday until then end of the KAL, on March 26th! Caring and mending your lopi sweaters, Icelandic fish skin buttons and more are on the program!

This week, we are are finishing the sweater and steeking it! I´m showing your how to graft teh underarms (2:14), darn the ends (10:26), wash the sweater (17:30), prepare the steek with a sewing machine (23:09) or by hand (27:50), and then we cut! (29:43). Come next the front bands (33:33), 1-row button holes (39:13), steam blocking (47:15) before sewing the buttons on.
Time for some show off (50:59) and of course, I announce this week´s giveaway winner (51:29) and a last little note (52:40)!

KAL PROGRAM: video uploaded every Friday around 6pm -GMT
Don´t be put off by the program, it´s a VERY quick sweater, knitted loose on big needles! And remember, no pressure to complete anything, just have fun!

January 29th: let´s talk about Icelandic yarn, make a swatch and try our hands at steeking!
February 5th: We knit the body!
February 12th: We knit the sleeves: introduction to colorwork and a few short rows for the elbow shaping!
February 19th: We knit the colorful yoke!
February 26th: Time for the finishing: half of the work used to say Olga grand-mother. Steeking, grafting, button bands, etc… there will be enough to do!
I decided to then prolongate the KAL for a month and will upload more videos about woolly Icelandic things!
March 5th: caring and mending your lopi sweaters!
March 12th: (...)
March 19th: (...)
March 26th: the last week, on March 26th, we´ll do a live and brag about our finished sweaters or our first sleeve! We´ll see depending on where the participants are in the world when it will work best!
