What's future to you? - STIR at Next Design Perspectives 2022

The third edition of the conference—Next Design Perspectives, was held at Triennale Milano on October 27, 2022. An initiative by Altagamma, this edition of the half-day conference was curated by cultural strategist, curator and critic, Beatrice Leanza who presented the the theme of 'Design in Flux.' Featuring prominent creatives and curators such as Aric Chen, Quayola, Lonneke Gordijn, Alfredo Munoz, and Brendan McGetrick, among others, the event was devoted to future trends in creativity and design. “Future” was one of the key terms that drove the discourse at this edition of Next Design Perspectives. The conference presented divergent perspectives, ideologies, interpretations, and speculations on the same. But what is future, indeed? Is it spatial or temporal, an attitude, or a state of mind? We asked the speakers and this is what they had to say.
